Vivian Laverne Powers

Vivian Powers, 75, beloved mother, wife, and grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She entered this world on April 21, 1947 in Daytona Beach, FL and was raised by loving parents, John and Mary Walczak. She was happily married to her spouse, Jon Powers for 52 years. She is survived by her siblings, Charlotte Lunt and Carlton Harrington; her daughter, Christy Cunico; son-in-law, Garrett Cunico; and granddaughters, Ashlyn and Payton Cunico.

Vivian delighted the troops and provided morale, dancing, and entertaining in variety shows for the USO. She and her husband were former business owners of 33 years. After her retirement, she worked as a Para-Professional for APS, and she pursued her passion for animals by offering pet sitting services. Her hobbies included golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and life-long friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside.
