Vince Budris, 68, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on Saturday, February 4, 2017. He entered this world on March 8, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Budris and Albina Blake; his father-in-law, Leo Aguilar; and brother-in-law, Jim Boggio. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Budris; daughter, Ashley (Dusty Vega); sons, Jordan and Jason Budris; grandsons, Cooper Vega, Benjamin and Jazz Budris; mother-in-law, Stella Aguilar; brother-in-law, Leonard Aguilar (Teresa); sister-in-law, MaryAnn Boggio; and nephew, Zack Boggio (Maria) and their son, Dexter. He is also survived by many numerous relatives and friends.

Vince graduated from high school in Freehold, NJ at Christian Brothers Academy and moved to New Mexico, attended the College of Santa Fe and graduated summa cum laude. After graduating he pursued his career in broadcasting as an account executive at KOAT Channel 7 and KRQE Channel 13 for over 40 years. Vince was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Legion Riders and Patriot Guard. He worked tirelessly on behalf of the veteran community and also spent many hours volunteering at the Holy Child Parish Catholic School. Vince was a very kind and generous soul, a family man and thoroughly enjoyed family outings such as camping, skiing, fishing and traveling the world.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 starting with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Child Parish in Tijeras, NM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers will include Leonard Aguilar, Zack Boggio, Ray Silva and Tim Silva.
