It is with great sadness the family of Susan F. Kramer announces her passing on October 9th at the age of 56.
She was born in Philadelphia in 1959. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Jay M. Harrison and brother; Jeffrey Kramer and sister-in-law Jan Kramer and their daughter Grace of Dallas, Texas; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins in Philadelphia and Seattle.
Susan graduated from Haverford High in 1977 and went on to Goucher College, Class of 1981. She then received her law degree from the University of Maryland in 1986. She practiced law with Whiteford Taylor in Baltimore as well as Patton Boggs in Baltimore and Washington, DC. She then served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Maryland Housing and Community Development Agency. She also was a yoga instructor for many years in both Annapolis, MD and Placitas, NM.
Jay and Susan moved from Annapolis in 2009 and truly loved their life in Placitas with a circle of great friends. She was active in a Placitas book club and loved to travel.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 04, 2016, 4:30 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Susan's infectious laugh and gracious smile were hard to forget.
If desired, Memorial donations may be made to the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center.
