Stuart Wageman, 61, beloved son and brother, passed away of a cardiac event on December 29, 2016. He entered this world on June 15, 1955, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He is survived by his parents Carol and Bill Wageman; sister Leslie Linke; brother Steven Wageman (Shelly); nephews Nick Linke, Kevin Linke, David Linke, and Daniel Wageman; and niece Yvonne Wageman.
Stuart's passions were simple but genuine. He deeply adored his family and pets, and delighted in improvement projects all around his home. Stu was an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Dallas Cowboys his entire life, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in his teens. He worked within law enforcement, the hospitality industry, and telecommunications. Stuart was known for his sense of service and compassion as a hard-working employee, a loyal and cherished friend, and a diligent supporter of his aging parents. Stu will be remembered for his transparency and keen sense of humor, and will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, 4:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming (7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE in Albuquerque). A graveside service will take place Thursday, January 5, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, NM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Animal Humane Society, your nearest animal shelter, or a wildlife refuge.
