Roberto M. Perea

Roberto M. Perea, 84, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Dorela; his children, Christina Siler, Marcella Tafoya (Chuck), Bobby Perea (Christine), Doris Baldwin (Richard) and Raul Perea (Andrea); 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends including his brothers, Eusebio Perea (Betty), Frank Perea (Ruth), Tony Perea (Bertha); his sisters, Pauline Trujillo (David), Linda Carrillo (Danny), Isabel Sandoval (Greg), Maxine Sanchez (Steve); and his sister-in-law, Tina Perea. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rosarito; his siblings, Danny Perea, Viola Perea and Magdalena Montoya; and two grandchildren, Antonito Romero and Angel Perea. Mr. Perea was a master carpenter who built both the homes he lived in as well as many residential and commercial properties. A Rosary will be recited Friday, September 9, 2016, 6:00 p.m. at Holy Child Parish, 19 Cam Del Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM 87059. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 10, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Child Parish with burial following at San Antonito Mission Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eugenio Garcia, Ramon Romero, Adam Perea, Orlando Perea, Gabriel Perea, Richie Baldwin, Robert Baldwin and Alejandro Perea. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lorencito Perea, Stephanie Garcia, and Alicia Perea.
