Robert (Bob) A. Slagle

Robert A. (Bob) Slagle, age 87, born in Chester, NE on March 30, 1934, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He is survived and cherished by His sons, John P. Slagle and Joe L. Slagle; adored by his daughters-in law, Glena Slagle and Kimberly Slagle of New Mexico; his grandchildren, Chandra Moschina, Ashley Rodriguez, Evan Slagle, and Lauren Drew Collins, and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, June Slagle, parents and nine siblings.

Bob lived in Boulder and Georgetown, CO, Tularosa, Corrales and Clovis, NM before settling in the Albuquerque area in 1985.

Bob worked as a Teacher and School Counselor before retiring from Zuni Elementary School. He was a long-time choir member and volunteer at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church. He served countless Saturdays providing clothes to the homeless.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., FRENCH - Westside.
