Robert J. "Bob" Larsen

Robert J. "Bob" Larsen, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean (Hill) Larsen; daughter, Elise Larsen; two grandsons, Keir and Kage Larsen; and numerous other relatives and friends. Bob was born in Chicago in 1941, the only child of Martin and Elizabeth (Strudeman) Larsen. He retired from the Federal Department of Energy in Albuquerque. Bob enjoyed camping, hunting, Nascar racing, and power boating. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will take place Monday, January 9, 2017, 9:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Shelter, 3251 Westphalia Blvd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144 or to the charity of your choice.
