Patrick Heise

Born August 10, 1953. Died October 15, 2022, of pancreatic cancer. Patrick was a devoted son, loving brother, and fun uncle. He is survived by his parents Dr. Richard and Catherine Heise; his sisters Georgianna, Magdalana, and Carissima Heise (Jeff Rivas); his niece Clair Scribner; and nephews Francis and Joseph Heise. He was preceded in death by his sister Francesca Heise.

Patrick was a licensed architect in NM and CO, Certified Passive House Consultant, NCARB Certified, PHIUS Certified Builder, USGBC NM Member. Patrick graduated from St. Pius High School and UNM (BFA in Architecture, Architecture and Engineering). He completed all coursework from University of British Columbia, Vancouver (MA Architecture). Patrick had 44 years of experience as a Project Architect, Project Manager, and Construction Administrator with major architectural firms in New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado. He was an avid skier and ski instructor (Taos, Breckenridge), golfer, Bronco and Lobo fan, and active Catholic who was proud and grateful for his faith.

A Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Annunciation Church at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, followed by Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
