Patricia Ann Haring, cherished sister, aunt, friend, and teacher, passed away on January 19, 2017.
Pat was born on December 6, 1946 to Thomas and Grace Haring in Washington, D.C. Upon graduating, with honors, from Dunbarton College, she went on to be an outstanding and admired teacher for thirty-nine years. Pat has kept in touch with many of her former students from Navajo and Governor Bent Elementary Schools here in Albuquerque. Currently, she was enjoying volunteer tutoring at SYJ.
Surviving her is her beloved family; her brother, Tom Haring; and nephews, Tyler and Brendan (Midlothian, Va.); sister, Terry Haring-Chandler and nephew, Kevin, and niece and husband, Katie and Ken McCrory and children, Dylan, Brielle and Aria. She also leaves behind a multitude of loved friends, co-workers and cousins. Also surviving are her furry canine buddies: Austin, Rosie, and Bailey.
Pat loved teaching, reading, children, football, Sudoku and spending time with her family and friends. She was a kind, compassionate, intelligent, strong lady who made this world such a better place. Her generosity of spirit and love were exemplified in all she did throughout her life. She is so deeply missed already. Heaven has a new angel.
