Nicholas "Nick" Oxford

Nicholas "Nick" Oxford, age 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was born in 1944 in San Francisco, CA to Eugene and Virginia Oxford. Nick was one of ten children. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Mickey and Jackie Oxford. Nick served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 52 years, Sheridan; children, Barry Oxford and Barbara Oxford; grandchildren, Dakota, Nicholas and Nevin Oxford; great granddaughter, Lily Lee, daughter of Dakota and Jasmine; and numerous other relatives and many friends. Nick loved airplanes, loved to talk about airplanes, and was very fond of the ocean. He was a kind loving soul who would lend a hand to help anyone in need at any time. Nick always put others before himself. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
