Michael Norbert Toyzan

Michael Norbert Toyzan, 86, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on August 20, 2021. Michael Norbert Toyzan was born in 1934 on a farm near Munger, Michigan to his parents, Anthony and Catherine Toyzan.

He was baptized and confirmed at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church in Munger.

He served 22 years in the U. S. Air Force retiring as a senior NCO.  Michael served 2 years in combat in Korea. Michael married the former Vera D. Kisner of Pfeifer, Kansas in June of 1956.

He is survived by his wife, and four children, Kristine Pennington of Denver, Colorado, Lisa Trujillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Teresa Evans of Albuquerque, New Mexico and David Toyzan of Denver, Colorado.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Michael is also survived by his sister, Catherine Lewis, of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Steve of Vassar, Michigan, Charles of Columbus, Ohio and Larry of Gaylord, Michigan.

Michael was a member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Rosary and funeral mass will be held at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, N.M.  87112.

The rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, 6:00 p.m.

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, 10:00 a.m.

Burial services will take place at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pfeifer, Kansas.
