Michael Haynes was born in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, January 24, 1950. His parents were Allen and Lois Haynes, and he has a younger sister, Marcie Ann. Mike was a typical California boy, surfed, played bass guitar in a band, and had a vast collection of reptiles and rodents. He received his Bachelors in Business from Arizona State University and later went on to get a Master's in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. He settled in Colorado and started a family. Michael always had reptiles and small animals and started a passion for gardening, he even became a Master Gardner. Mike moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2010 where he later retired. He never lost his love of animals or his passion for gardening. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoying his garden and pond, and traveling with his wife and back to Colorado whenever possible to see his children and grandchildren.
Mike passed away Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Gina; his two amazing children, Alan and Shannon; stepdaughter, Eva; and his five grandchildren, Aason, Kiara, Austin, Elora, and Ryder. Mike was an incredibly smart man, very loving, and fun to be with. He left before we wanted him to, but God needs Righteous and Fair angels to fight what this world has become, and he needed Mike to be one of those angels. His life will be celebrated Friday, April 16, 2021 by close family and friends.
