Mary Ada Dunkley Dayvault passed away on November 15, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM.
She was born in Concord, NC on December 14, 1924, to Thomas M. and Bertha K. Dunkley. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Thomas, Jr., and her husband, Ret. Lt. Col. Nevin E. Dayvault, USMC, of Concord, NC. After many duty stations, Nevin was assigned to Task Force JTF8 at Sandia Base, Albuquerque, NM, where they remained after Nevin's retirement. They became members of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, and Mary remained in her beloved church until her death.
She is survived by an aunt, Mrs. Mary Jane Kilpatrick of Franklin, TN, and many cousins.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, NC. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 or to Hospice of New Mexico, 2900 Louisiana NE, Suite 100, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
