Marcia Jane Raun

Marcia “Jane” Goodman Raun, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 after a long and heroic struggle with Alzheimer’s. Jane was born on August 3, 1933 to Abe and Alice Goodman in Albuquerque, NM. She and her twin, Jean, were crowned co-Homecoming Queens at Albuquerque High School in 1950.

Jane was married to Tim Scannell from 1951-1964. They had three daughters:  Kathy, Lynn and Beth.

Jane later married her beloved husband and the love of her life, Gary A. Raun, and they were married for 47 years, until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Jean. She is survived by her husband, Gary Raun; brothers, Jack and Rick Goodman; daughters, Kathy (Dan) Goss, Lynn (Mike Biggins) Lobato, Beth (Dave) Trujillo, stepchildren, Monsigner Douglas Raun, Sandy (Cathy) Raun; grandchildren, Carlos (Allie) Aragon, Tony (Lindsay) Paco, Kim Paco, Matthew (Aundrea) Trujillo, Karen (Mark) Trujillo; seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH – Westside, with a reception to follow.
