Lupe Marquez

Lupe Angelina Marquez, born on December 12, 1934, died peacefully at home and was surrounded by her family on December 14, 2016. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Lupe was survived by her sons, Albert and wife, Maryann Marquez, and Raymond Marquez; daughters, Patricia M. and husband, Jose Gonzales, Flora and husband, Anthony Gallegos, Emma Gonzales, Barbara and husband, Arthur Tafoya, and Carla Marquez; brother, Felix Marquez; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Marquez; mother, Josefita Urban; brothers, Joe Vigil, Tommy Urban and Max Urban; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the Rosary following at 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, with viewing at 8:00 a.m., and Mass following at 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt.
