Lillie Garcia Meyers

Lillie Garcia Meyers, 78, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away September 6, 2016. Lillie was born in Bosque, NM to Wilfido Garcia and Neri Romero Garcia, the second eldest of eight children. After several European military deployments with her husband, Harry, and daughters, she returned to Albuquerque and enjoyed a successful career in mobile home sales spanning 30 years and received numerous awards. Lillie frequently enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, with her daughter Melissa, for weekend getaways. She is survived by her two older daughters, Marie Brightwell McMillian, husband Don McMillian, Jr. and Sandra Brightwell Potter, husband James Kent Potter; five granddaughters: Lauren McMillian, Michelle McMillian, Jordan Potter, Julie Potter and Laura Potter; and six siblings, Benjamin Garcia, Elsie Benavidez, Ruben Garcia, Mary Jean Scoggins, Virginia Perez and Clara Dimas; an aunt, Viola Sanchez; and an uncle, Wilson Romero. Her youngest daughter, Melissa Sabie Brightwell passed away on Sept. 11, 2016. They will share a combined service to be held Sept. 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM
