Laura Sellards Prins

Laura Elizabeth Sellards Prins 74, deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, went rejoicing into the presence of her Heavenly Father December 26, 2022. Laura was born on March 27, 1948 and was known for her deep love of Jesus and her ability to hide His word in her heart.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Barry Prins; son, Derek (Lisa) Prins; daughter, Melinda (Doyle) Cawthon; grandchildren, Ellie, Seth, Ian, Bradley (Chloe), Taylor, and (Chloee); and one great-grandchild, Riven. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy Anderes, Melinda (Al) Tichenor, Christine Sellards, and Starr Sellards; along with many nieces and nephews.

Laura was an incredible wife and mother, who was able to make any house a loving home. As an Air Force family, she did it many times over the years as they moved often, sometimes just because she loved a new or different house. She was a worship leader, Bible study teacher, encourager, dear friend, and loyal confidant to many. Her giftings to laugh freely, discern deeply and love profoundly impacted more lives than she could ever possibly know. The fruits of her having lived well will carry through generations to come.
