Kevin McReynolds, 62, beloved husband, was called home, following a brave and valiant fight against cancer, on October 10, 2017. He was born on December 5, 1954 in Clovis, NM, to James and Clydie McReynolds. Kevin graduated from Eldorado High School, Albuquerque, NM, in the first graduating class. While at Eldorado he received the West Point Leadership Award and briefly attended the United States Military Academy. Kevin returned to New Mexico and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, later the BNSF Railroad, for more than 44 years as had his father and grandfather before him. Kevin never met a stranger and was a generous and kind friend who will long be remembered for his wit and humor. Kevin and his loving wife, Cathleen, could often be found riding their cherished Harley Davidson motorcycle throughout the western United States. He was a brilliant man putting many to shame with his vault-like memory.
He is survived by his wife, Cathleen Crumley McReynolds; mother, Clydie Little McReynolds; sister, Jamie McReynolds; stepchildren, Anthony Flores and TaLeah Flores; and his beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father, James McReynolds; brother, Jeff McReynolds; and brother-in-law, Don Kwasek.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00 p.m.
