Kathy M. Fiedler

Kathy Fiedler, age 69, a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. She was born May 22, 1953, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Kathy was known for her love of her family, and she enjoyed making chocolates for her friends and family. She also enjoyed planting and taking care of her flowers.

She is survived by her husband Dave; her child, Brian Aragon (Glenda), stepchildren, Mark Fiedler, and Melissa Cureton (Mark); and her grandchildren, Brian Aragon Jr., Alec Aragon, Shania Concha Ortiz, Mateo Aragon, Owen Cureton, and Gavin Cureton. She is also survived by her brothers, Gary Roybal (Mary), and Rick Roybal (Yvonne); and sister, Melissa Nuttall (Michael). She also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Torres; father, John Roybal; brother, Glen Roybal, and mother, Helen Roybal.

Her family and her friends were everything to her. She adored her sons and grandchildren. She loved to cook and make candy for various holidays and celebrations. She lived her life on her terms and rarely complained about her health problems. She loved to work on her flowers, shopping, going to the casinos and enjoyed traveling.

She was a devoted and loving wife, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always giving money to the homeless people of Albuquerque and felt sorry for their plight. She was a very compassionate person and truly believed that she could make a difference in the world. She will certainly be missed by all who were touched by her personality and friendly smile.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m., with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:15 a.m., St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW - Albuquerque, NM 87114. Interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque at 1:00 p.m.
