Judy Kay Rader, age 64, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019.
She was born in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, November 6, 1954 to Robert and Annabel White. Judy graduated in 1972 from Del Norte High School. She worked at Sandia National Laboratories until her retirement in 1998. She was a talented artist and also enjoyed drawing silly pictures with her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, camping and backpacking throughout New Mexico. She loved gardening, growing vegetables and flowers, including an indoor garden of houseplants. She loved birds and animals and was never without one or more pets.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Annabel White; sister, Patricia von Tellrop; and nephew, Jimmy von Tellrop.
She is survived by her father, Robert A. White; sister, Kathy Zurek; brother, Robert K. White and wife, Cindy; daughter, Jenny Rader; and son, Jason Rader and wife, Jenniy. She is also survived by grandson, Bryan; granddaughters, Audrey, Julia, Olivia, Andromeda, Athena, Azelia and Ayami, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Judy had a kind and beautiful spirit and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
