Joseph Michael (Mike Tagg) Taglialegami, age 83, beloved father, was called to his eternal resting place on Monday, February 6, 2017. He entered this world on June 18, 1933 in Buffalo, NY, born to Mariano and Ida Taglialegami.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Janice Taglialegami; and sons, Marty and wife, Christine, Michael and wife, Kristi, and Anthony and wife, Claudette; as well as daughters, Bonnie Floyd and husband, Taylor, Michele Wills and husband, Larry, and Angela Graczyk and husband, Jim. In addition he leaves 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Joseph served in the U. S. army from 1953-1954. He moved his very successful paving company from Buffalo to Albuquerque in 1979. He has been a member of The Knights of Columbus for over 50 years and served as a greeter at his church. He loved His Lord, his wife and his family as well as Frank Sinatra.
The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening, February 8, 2017, 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2017, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St. NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
