John Arthur Acevedo, at age 70, went home to be with the Lord. He will be missed by so many friends, neighbors and family. We know he will remain with us in our hearts and memories and now loves us from heaven.
He had a long career with Yellow Freight. He enjoyed fishing, the great outdoors and tinkering with old vehicles.
Not knowing this would be our last conversation we are comforted knowing the last words he heard on earth were" I love you very much dad" and the last words we heard were "I love you too son" followed by His savior " welcome home My good and faithful servant" John's last breath on earth followed by his first breath in heaven.
Thank all of you who came to visit him, called, or wrote him. Especially his dear friend and neighbor Tony for all you did and brotherly love you showed him.
