Joanne Marie Ballinger Pearson

Joanne Pearson, 64, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed into the arms of her Savior December 28, 2016. Joanne was a generous woman who cared for everyone she met. She loved her children, their friends, and all the children she met through her church and her job at Hope Christian School. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Ballinger, and her mother, Margaret Sheriff. She is survived by her husband, Lowell Pearson; and her children, Lara and Matt Kerris and grandchildren Amalya, Priya, and Noah of Albuquerque, and Justin and Julie Pearson and grandson Luca of Lisbon, Portugal. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Ballinger and his wife, Lyn; sisters, Judy Baxter and her husband, Bill, and Susan Blossom and her husband, Toby; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Dr. NE. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Eagles Wings Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 465, Mountainair, NM 87036 (www.ewyouthranch.org).
