Jean Edward White went to be with our precious Lord on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at 7:59 a.m. Jean was born on July 18, 1933 in Rockford, Illinois to John White and Theresa (Schmidt) White. He was one of nine children. John was in the Army, so the family moved many times throughout Jean’s childhood from Michigan to Wisconsin, Missouri, Germany and finally settling in Illinois. While in Germany, Jean graduated from Heidelberg High School. After graduating Jean enlisted in the Army and had served in the Korean conflict in Okinawa, Japan. After his service in the military, Jean worked as a Reservationist for TWA at O’Hara Airport in Chicago, Illinois. In 1977, Jean relocated his family to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he worked as an Agent-In-Charge for Air Freight as well as Ticket-Gate Agent for TWA until he retired after 42 years. Jean is survived by his children; Jamie Lynne Yaeger (Rick), Melissa Gail Dale (Randy), William Walter McClendon-White (Ricky), and Rebecca Marie Hall (Kurtis Boxberger). He is also survived by his five grandchildren; Keith Watson (Jaime), Allison Kemp (RJ), Dustin Hall (Laura), Alisha Madrid (Ryan), and Alaina Hall; four great-grandchildren, Landon Kemp, Persephone Hall, Godrick Watson and Jackson Hall. He is also survived by his sisters; Annette Johnson and Anita Stephens; brothers, George and Peter White. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Theresa White; two sisters; Betty Krause and Barbara White; two brothers; Jack and Carl White. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to any Veterans Organization. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m at FRENCH-Westside Chapel.
