Janet Samuelman-Lucero, born on September 22, 1957, passed away on November 15, 2021.
Janet is survived by her husband, Manuel Lucero; daughter, Marylynn Doporto Samuelman; granddaughter, Aspen Nikol Samuelman; brothers, Alan Samuelman and Darryl Dudka. Janet was better known as “Mama Bear” to the staff at the UFCW where she was a 41-year member and elected Secretary-Treasurer.
Janet enjoyed providing care to others who were in need whether it was to a church, friends, or an abandon individual down on their luck. Janet was loving but her key attribute was GIVING. She was generous; not self-absorbed as most are today. Janet’s first love was Jesus and talked almost daily about her new body Jesus would give her when she arrived at her eternal Heavenly home. She had accepted Jesus Christ’s free gift of Salvation only through the cross. Janet is free from her body’s limitations and is now dancing, serving Jesus in full capacity, and hoping her loved ones and friends she has left behind here on earth will follow Jesus so we can all meet up again with her in eternity, where there are no tears, no pain, and no sorrows.
