Irene Barbara Garcia

Irene Barbara Garcia 71, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to her Eternal resting place on Saturday, February 6, 2021.  She entered this world on October 16, 1949 in Buckeye, AZ born to Serafine Martinez Conde and Olga Nadine Rubalcava.

She is survived by her spouse, Benito Garcia Sr; two sons, Benito Garcia Jr., Abel Garcia; and daughter, Melissa Smith. Also survived by a son-in-law, John Smith; two daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Amanda Garcia; 16 grandchildren, Isaac Garcia, Nicole Garcia Holguin, Lilly Orellana, Joseph Orellana, Sariah Garcia, Adam Garcia, Miranda Garcia, Seth Garcia, Asher Garcia, Aailyah Catucio, Vivianna Catucio, David Catucio, Elysha Smith, Sabryna Smith, Brandy Smith, Elijah Smith; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by eight siblings, Dora "Dee Dee" Perez, Grace Tyler, Deborah Garcia, Teresa Cervantes, Ernest Conde, Jim Conde, Steve Conde, and Robert Conde; and many more close family and friends.

Irene was retired for many years and enjoyed cooking, painting, ceramics, traveling, camping with her husband and family in their RV.  She loved spending time with all her family when she could.  Irene was spiritual and Loved The Lord. She would always pray for all her family and close friends.  She had a great big sensitive heart for others.
She will be terribly missed by many.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 26, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 and Osuna Road NE. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
