Ida Ehrman, age 91, long time resident of the east mountains, dedicated wife, homemaker and mother. Passed away peacefully February 18, 2017.
Ida was known for her beauty, love of gardening and activities. She was a dedicated member of The Republican Women and Sando Club. She was a great bowler, golfer, skier, square dancer and would also scuba dive.
Ida is survived by her two daughters, Diana Herrera and Beverly Gould (Doug); grandchildren, Brian Herrera (Michael Quanci), Saudi Herrera and April Diaz (Gabe); great granddaughters, Bianca Diaz and Gabriella Diaz. She is also survived by her brothers, Raymond Blanchard and Bert Blanchard Jr. of Brownsville, TX. She also leaves much loved nieces and nephews of Iowa and Texas.
Ida was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward F. Ehrman; father, Bert Blanchard Sr.; and mother, Zenaida Blanchard.
Friends and family may visit Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Memorial Service to be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd.
