Harry loved life and lived every day to the fullest and never met a stranger. Harry had several interests including baseball, hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, bowling and his horses. However, nothing gave him more joy than time spent with his family. Harry couldn't bear to be farther than a few feet from his wife, Marilyn of 58 years.
Harry loved the St. Louis Cardinals and displayed his love for them by wearing a ball cap 24 hours a day for the last three years of his life, even sleeping in it. He didn't slide into home the morning of his passing until his cap was placed on his head.
As hard as it was for Marilyn to relinquish his care to anyone else, Casa de Rosa Senior living became Harry's final dugout for the last two weeks of his life where he was loved and cared for greatly by all members of the staff.
