On April 26, 2016, our wonderful and beautiful mother was escorted into heaven by the angels and met by her mother and father, Anna and Espirion Lueras; her beloved son, Vincent Lucero; and grandson, Eugene.
Gloria was a strong woman with a great love of the Lord. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gloria was an IT Specialist and retired after working with the FAA for many years. She enjoyed and did extensive traveling and she loved the "Sister Trips." Her favorite was her yearly trip to South Padre, Texas.
Gloria is survived by her children John Lucero, Diana Contreras and husband Ray, Patricia Medina and Little John; grandchildren Erika, Ray Anthony, Matthew, Ricardinho, Alex, Elias, Santana, Santiago, Gloria and Vicente; and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Phyllis Beck and Betty Fountaine and her brothers, Martin and Ernie Lueras as well numerous nieces and nephews and friends, especially Raul Medina.
We know Gloria's love will be with us always. We rejoice in her life with a service to be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - University.
