Diana Hinshaw, 54, of Algodones, passed away on Saturday, January 7, at 10:02 p.m. at UNM Hospital. She was surrounded by her kids, parents, and sister.
Diana was born April 13, 1962, daughter of Gilbert and Cruz Lopez. She was raised and schooled in Hobbs, NM. Diana married Howard Hinshaw in 1983, and had two children. When Diana found out she was going to be a grandma for the first time, she decided to retire from the City of Albuquerque. Diana completed 30 years of Public Service with the City of Albuquerque. Diana's retirement was filled with love and joy with her grandbabies. Her hobbies during retirement included spending time with her parents and grandchildren and watching her Dallas Cowboys football.
Diana is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hinshaw; and grandparents, Emiterio and Jussita Carrasco, and Lorraine and Eli Montoya.
Diana is survived by daughter, Jessica Sanchez and son-in-law, Anthony Sanchez; son, Jacob Hinshaw and daughter-in-law, Kelsie Cachucha; brothers, John Lopez and Orlando Lopez; and sisters, Virgina Ben-Salem and Laura Swope; parents, Gilbert and Cruz Lopez; and grandchildren, Aj Sanchez and Michelle Elena Hinshaw.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming, with Deacon Manuel Montoya officiating.
