Darlene Ann Foster, age 77, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and daughter passed away after a courageous battle with illness on Sunday, October 9, 2016. Darlene shared a love of photography with her husband, Joe. They were happily married for 44 years. She gave her service to the Messiah Lutheran Church as well as serving as a Cub Scout Den Leader and Girl Scout Troop Leader.
Darlene is survived by her son, Joe Foster, and wife, Tracy, of Albuquerque; brother, Keldon Day and wife, Gayle, of Cincinnati, OH; three granddaughters, Klysta Schoof and husband, Jake, Jenny Gail and husband, Ryan, and Victoria Anderson and husband, Nick; grand-granddaughter, Penny Gail; and numerous other cousins, nephews, and friends that will love and miss her deeply.
A service celebrating Darlene's life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11515 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112 with a light reception to follow. Private interment will be held at a later time at Sunset Memorial Park.
