Charlene Whitmore

Lois Charlene Whitmore, 95, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

She was born in San Francisco, California on November 14, 1925.  She is survived by sisters-in-law, Betty Scott and Esther Scott, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Whitmore; parents, Charles R. and Susie Foster Scott; sisters, Janelle McFall and husband Norman, Ella Kershaw and husband John; and brothers, Charles “Bud” Scott and Jerry Scott.

Charlene was a member of Bethel Heritage Church since 1937 when she moved to Albuquerque with her family.  She graduated from Albuquerque High School and worked for Creamland Dairy, First National Bank, Sandia Corporation, and Western Bank, among other organizations during her career.

She was a loving aunt and friend to many, and she will be greatly missed.   A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE with Rev. Michael Mullins officiating.
