Carlos Griego

Carlos Griego passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 8th, 2021, at the age of 93.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Alice L. Griego, and his son, Edward J. Griego.

He is survived by his sons, Andy T. Griego and wife Peggy Griego, Stephen A. Griego and wife, Lydia Griego; and Daughter, Charlene T. Hernandez and husband, Steve Hernandez; and Daughter-in-Law, Wilma Griego. His Grandchildren, Aliandra Maes, Stephanie Dameron, Jessica Hernandez, Savannah Apodoca, Denise Fernandez, Joann Griego, Dominique Griego, Angelique Griego, Chas Griego, and Reggie Marshall. He was fortunate to live to see the birth of nine Great Grandchildren, Darren, Logan, Donovan, Bryleigh, Ella, Ethan, Mason, McKenzie, and Preston. He is also survived by His Sister-in-Law, Virginia Gabaldon. Although a very reserved Man and a Man with very little words, he still made a strong statement in all our lives. May he be blessed as he has now received his wish to be with his Wife.

A Rosary Service will take place on Monday May 10, 2021, at French Wyoming Chapel, at 6:30 p.m. To view the rosary, please click on the following link: http://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/53756 A memorial honoring Carlos' life will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St, NW, Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 9:00 am. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be limited seating inside the church. While we wish all could attend, regrettably, an invitation to attend will be provided. The Service will be live streamed on the Nativity website for others wanting to attend. www.n-bvm.org and 88.1 FM radio in the parking lot being broadcast the day of the funeral. The family expresses their appreciation for your sympathy and understanding during these times. Graveside services will be private.
