Calvin Claberon Buckner Jr

Calvin Claberon Buckner, Jr., age 65, passed away on February 9, 2017. He was the son of Claberon and Goldie Buckner and was born in Roswell, NM on March 19, 1951. His father was in the 200th Coast Artillery and was a P.O.W for forty-two months in Mukden, Manchuria. He died in 1972. Also, preceding him in death was his step-father, Dr. Fred R. Brown; grandparents; and other family. He is survived by his mother; two brothers, Ron and Bill and their families. Special thanks are given to caregivers, Ignacio Salas, Gregg Baca and others. He had a sweet spirit and never planned evil. "There is no death." May he jump with joy in Heaven with its bright flowers and rich music. No service will be held here. Private burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
