Burton Vose (BG), age 64, a dearly loved husband, brother, and friend, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020.
Burton was known for his ability to fix anything, his creative genius, his calm, gentle support of his loved ones. Burt will be remembered as a faithful Baha’i, friendly, would put people at ease and cause them to smile.
Burt was very proud of his invention of a solar device for tracking the sun in the late 1970’s. He enjoyed computer networking and all things electronic. He was also an amateur radio operator (N5VHK), and he very much enjoyed playing Native American flute
We all miss him very much. He was remarkably patient.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Vose; his stepdaughter, Honey Breen and her husband, Justin Breen, and their four children. He is also survived by his brother, David J. Wade; sister, Sharon Ewing and her husband, Carl Ewing. He also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burton was preceded in death by his mother, Rhea M. Coleman; his father, Burton Vose, Sr.; and his brother, Walter (Rusty) Wade. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at the Albuquerque Baha’i Center located at 5700 Ouray Rd NW.
