Bruce McKee Glasgow, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM.

He is survived by his children, Lana (James) Jensen, Randal (Martha) Glasgow, and Terri (Kevin) McDonald; grandchildren, Christina (Randall) Knoblauch, Jennifer (Chad) Hamill, Joelene (Gilberto) Guzman, Ryan (Tracy) Jensen, Meagan and Cade Glasgow, and Derek and Tyler McDonald; great-grandchildren, Chance and Casey Knoblauch, Taylor (Jessie) Medrano, Hannah Hamill, Victoria and Cimmarae Douglas, Jason Gaertner, Tristen Snipes Jensen, Jax Jensen, Cecilia (Ernesto) Vega, and Brenda (Kyle) Cisco; great-great grandchildren, Karina, and Ryley; siblings, Lee Wootten and Dee (Delight) Glasgow; his best friend, Buddy; and numerous other relatives and friends.  Bruce was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara; parents, Lee and Mary Glasgow; and three siblings, Faye (Phil) McConnell, Dale and Harold Glasgow.

He was born in 1925 in Gladstone, NM and graduated from Farley High School.  Bruce then entered the United States Army Air Corps where he proudly served during WWII.  Upon his discharge he attended UNM for a brief time. In 1955 he graduated from the New Mexico State Police Academy, retiring as a Captain in 1985.  Bruce was the rock of his community and family, never meeting a person he didn't like. He loved playing card games, woodworking, sports, and traveling.  Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.  Ennichment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery where he will be placed with his beloved wife.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bruce's name to The New Mexico State Police Association, PO Box 36024, Albuquerque, NM 87176.
