Breann Ashley Kalivoda

Breann Kalivoda, 28, beloved daughter, was called to her eternal resting place on October 10, 2016. She entered this world on August 21, 1988 in Albuquerque, NM, born to James and Monica Kalivoda. She is survived by her father, James; mother, Monica; sister, Kristin Vincent and husband Andy; nephews, Jacob and Austin; niece, Taylor; her brother, James, and his wife Ashli; nephew, Lucas; the love of her life, Kyle Ochsie; grandparents, Nick and Amelia Gonzales, and Donna Kalivoda. She was blessed with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and more friends than a person should be allowed to have.
Breann loved and lived life to its fullest, embracing with the deepest of passions the simple as well as the complex. It was this passion Breann leaned on the past three years as she, along with an incredible extended family of support, battled her cancer. Throughout it all, Breann shared her story and experiences about her hard journey as a means of both raising awareness and of giving those who followed a lending hand, long after her fight was over. A visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Road NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Breann's name to the Gynecological Cancer Awareness Project, www.thegcap.org.
