Beverly J Wilkins, daughter of the late John Williams and Owallah Shoemake Williams was born Sunday, April 2, 1939, in Ft. Defiance, AZ. Beverly was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who lived and worked in Albuquerque for more than sixty-five years. She was an enrolled member of the Muscogee Creek Nation with kinship ties to the Cherokee Nation.
Beverly most recently served as Director of Blue Corn Mothers Alliance, an Advocacy Program serving victims of domestic violence. She has provided assistance and training locally, and in Tribal communities nationwide for the Indian Health Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Office for Victims of Crime, Sacred Circle, and many others.
Beverly passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Albuquerque. The passion she showed for her work, her beautiful smile, and her birthday serenades will be greatly missed. She is loved and survived by David Wilkins; daughter, Sydney and husband, Frank; son, Brian and wife, Robyn; son, Steven and wife, Sandra; and daughter, Amy; grandchildren, Christina, Stephanie, Chelsea, John, Holly, Boston, Dustin, Katherine, and Lillian; great-Grandchildren, Alisa, Robert, Joseph, David, Mila, Zaiden, Rylee, Jensen, Shana, Bailey, Vivienne, Brantly, Jesse, and Ashton; and extended family and dear friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH-University. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at La Mesa Presbyterian. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
