Betty Ann Smith passed away on November 6, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM. Betty was born in Emmet, AR to William and Dera Stinnitt Waddle in 1937. Betty was predeceased by her sister, Virginia McKinney and a brother, William (Pete) Waddle; as well as her son, Franklin Buck Smith.
Betty was a Registered Nurse, and raised wonderful children. She is survived by her husband, Steve Smith; sons, Dr. Steven Scott Smith of Glastonbury, CT and Anthony (Tony) Vernon Smith of Snoqualmie Pass, WA; and grandchildren, Natasha Smith, Julianne Smith, Kaylin Smith, Luke Smith and Martha Smith.
Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project.
