Betty S. Gonzales, 88, beloved mother, aunt, sister, grandmother andfFriend, was called to her eternal resting place on December 13, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM. She entered this world on April 10, 1928 in Belen, NM, born to Guadalupe and Aurelia (Garcia) Storey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Gonzales; her parents; two brothers, Eddie and wife, Corrine and Tony Storey; daughter-in-law, Carmelita Gonzales; and son-in-law, Pete Medina. She is survived by her son, Ben Gonzales; daughter, Angie Medina; grandsons, Pete (Denise), Bobbie, Dominic, Matthew and Danny; brothers, Gilbert Storey (Margaret), Erlando Storey (Lita), and Frank Storey (Christine); and sister-in-law, Bessie Storey.
Betty served as receptionist at Holy Ghost Parish for over 25 years.
A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, December 20, 2016, 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona St SE with a Mass following at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
