Betty Lou Fisher, born to Aubrey and Mary Ella McCord on June 9, 1929 in Grimes, OK, she departed this life December 28, 2016 in Midland, TX. Loving wife and mother, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charlie Claude Fisher; daughter, Dana Cheryl Johnson; as well as three brothers and one sister.
After they retired Betty enjoyed traveling with Claude for many years in their RV, usually with other family members along for the ride. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, plastic canvas crafting, and was an avid reader. She had a strong and abiding faith and love for God. She spent many years serving Him through teaching children's classes at church, through the World Bible School correspondence courses, and just serving others in any way she could.
She is survived by her daughter, Claudie Wilson; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service will be Saturday, January 7, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
