Barbara (Brainerd) Muniz

Barbara (Brainerd) Muniz passed away peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the age of 84. Barbara was a lifelong educator with Albuquerque Public Schools and enjoyed golf, reading, and traveling when she was able. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Leone Brainerd and her sister, Jean Brainerd Anderson. Barbara is survived by two daughters; one son-in-law; two grandsons; two sisters; her brother; and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Barbara's name to Cuidando Los Ninos in Albuquerque. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, 11:00a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life and Reception at FRENCH-Wyoming to begin at 4:00 p.m..
