Barbara Leola Morales

Barbara Leola Morales, beloved wife of Tom for 49 years, went home to meet her Lord on December 21, 2016. Barbara was born in Birch Tree, MO on January 27, 1938 to William and Ruby Hillix. Barbara is survived by her husband; her two sons, Rod and wife, Chris of La Mesa, CA and Shawn and wife, Joy of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Williams of Albuquerque; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki; and her grandson, Rodney.
Barbara and Tom have been residing in Albuquerque for 34 years and she was a longtime member of Del Norte Baptist Church. Barbara was known for her generous and caring nature and her fun-loving attitude.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE.
