Anna Petty

Anna Petty, 94, beloved Mother was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, May 10, 2021. She entered this world on Friday, April 22, 1927 near Bard, New Mexico, born to Marshal and Bertie Butler. She is survived by her daughters, Melodie Petty and Pamela Petty; sister, Nina Lynn; and many nieces and nephews.

Anna taught business classes at New Futures School for many years. She loved getting together with her church class and church members for different functions. For the past several years, she has been helping foster kittens for HART (Homeless Animal Rescue Team).

A viewing will be held Friday, May 21, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH-University.  A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, May 22, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
