Zakerie Robert Hayes

Zakerie Robert Hayes, age 19, beloved child, family member and friend of so many, passed away of Cystic Fibrosis on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Zakerie was known for his smile, love for life, love of his little brother and his drive to help those in the medicinal cannabis community. Even with his C.F. battle, he had an ambition to help everyone he touched. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert P. Hayes. He is survived by his father, Shawn P. Hayes; mother, Elisha D. Hayes; younger brother Dylan; maternal grandmother, Delinda Aker, with whom he had a very special bond. He leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends. Also touching his life were his Aunt Amy, Uncle Greg, his "other family", Tim and Joanne Scott, and his "little sisters" Sequoia and Hannah. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Glory Christian Fellowship, 2417 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
