Zackary Blake Smith

Zackary Smith, 20, of Clovis, NM, was called home on December 16, 2014. He passed away in Albuquerque, NM, after an extended battle with brain cancer. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Shane Pugh. Zack is loved and continues his legacy of helping others in the people he cherished and will be missed by many. Zackary is survived by his mom, Debra Pugh Smith; three big brothers, Michael, Christopher (Bubba), and Brenton Smith; his grandfather, Michael Pugh; his aunt, Melody Stephenson, and his grandmother, Sherry Pugh. With his kind heart and endless compassion for others, Zack gave back to other children battling illnesses by making and selling scarves and then using the money he made to buy toys for them for Christmas. With his strong faith and favorite bible verse, Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," Zack taught us to never ever give up. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian, 8600 Academy Road NE.
