Zachary David Clingenpeel Sprung

Zachary Sprung passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at his home in Coppell, Texas. Zachary was born in Hobbs, NM on Saturday, June 25, 1983, and grew up in Albuquerque, NM with his family.  He would later reside in Gilbert, AZ and Coppell, Texas.

He is survived by his wife and daughter, Penny and Noelle Sprung; his parents, Jeremy Sprung and Susan Clingenpeel; his biological mom, Debbie Kelly; his sister, Hannah Sprung and niece Jasmine Gipson; his in-laws, Rocky Diaz and Evangeline Diaz; his sister-in-law, Trina (Russell) Kelly; and nieces, Andreya, and Laura Kelly; and brother-in-law, Tim Diaz.

Zak spent almost ten years as a firefighter in the New Mexico starting in Corrales, Acoma and then Bernalillo County. After leaving the fire department he went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree. He went on to work in many fields but found his calling in comedy.  When he started working stand-up comedy and produced shows, did voice acting and commercials, he found what really makes him happy. He is preceded in death by his son, Aiden Zachary Sprung; his grandparents, Arthur, and Elsie Clingenpeel, and Patricia Carrillo, and Moises Delgado.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.  Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 p.m.

Graveside Service to immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at FRENCH - Lomas following the burial.
