Dewey, Wilma Irene
Wilma Dewey was 90, mother, musician, and business woman, passed away March 18, 2024. Wilma was known for her crafts, she was always working on a quilt or painting or Christmas ornaments. She spent many years as a mother busy with girl and boy scouts. She then became a business woman driving city bus and after getting her masters in business from UNM, she became the coordinator for Sun Van. After retirement she traveled all over North America in her RV and became a member of Zia Romers. She also spent 25 years going to Women's National bowling tournaments her last was at age 88. She is survived by her 4 remaining children Arthur, Karen, Bobbye, and Bryon. Her oldest two daughters Arlene and Cella await her in heaven. She also has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children and 4 great-great-grand children. Her brothers are both in heaven but her devoted sister-in-law Evangeline Berry who bowled with her all those years will always be dear to us is still living. Services will be held at French Mortuary in Rio Rancho NM on 3/26/24 at 2 pm. Following will be a gathering at Bobbye's house for refreshments and to share stories and pictures of Wilma.
