Wilma Brandt

Brandt, Wilma 81, beloved mother and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on February 12, 2015. She was born to George and Ursula Tegethoff on February 17, 1933 in Morrowville, KS. She is survived by her children Barbara Brandt of Albuquerque, Jackie Roeder and husband, Gary, of Boise, ID, Christine Brandt of Old Greenwich, CT, Michael Brandt and fiance. Jorie, of Albuquerque, and Lt. Col. Steven Brandt, USAF (Retired) and wife, Lisa, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Alex, Steven, Derek, Rachel, Stirling, Casey, GraceAnn, Faith, Mihret, and Shepherd. Wilma is also survived by her brother Robert of Morrowville, KS; her brother Harold and wife, Linda, of Hutchinson, KS. and nieces and nephews. She lived a life of family, sacrifice and dedication to her faith. She was honored with the St. Francis of Assisi Award in 2010 for her service and love for the Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her smile, her kind and gentle spirit as well as her strength. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Norbertine Community of Santa Maria de La Vid Abbey 5825 Coors Blvd SW Albuquerque, NM 87121.
