Willie Villanueva

Age 93, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, September 23, 2012. She is survived by her son, Jerry Villanueva (wife, Debra); grandchildren, Katrina Lyons (husband, Matt), Christopher Rode, James Villanueva (wife, Amanda), Charles Villanueva and Joseph Villanueva; great grandchildren, Aiden and Jack Lyons; foster daughters, Ann Mulligan and Paulette Hruska ( husband, Paul); brother, Sam Montoya; sisters, Esther Montoya and Annie Garza and many other family and friends. Mrs. Villanueva was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, John G. Villanueva; her parents, Santiago Rendon and Belen Montoya; her daughter, Patricia Ann Rode; brothers, David, Paul, Moses, and James Montoya and sister, Connie Dillon; grandchildren, Katrina Lyons (husband, Matt), Christopher Lyons, James (wife, Amanda), Charlie, Joseph Villanueva and Ann Cooper Diday; great grandchildren, Aiden and Jack Lyons. She was a gifted seamstress with her own business in Texas. Willie Mae was a member of Sandia Presbyterian Church. Memorial services and burial will take place at the Houston National Cemetery, 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012, where her beloved John is buried.
